Living In Mont Kiara

by | Community, i-Stories, Rental Trend

When Mont Kiara pops up in a conversation, the image of luxury, exclusivity and upscale suburban living comes to mind. Evidently, it has shed its old identity as Segambut Dalam rubber estate in the last three decades with the development of numerous high-rise condominiums, commercial centres, and nightlife.

Mont Kiara has earned its reputation as a hotspot for expats–more than half its residents consists of expats from over 30 countries. But what exactly makes Mont Kiara such an attractive option for expats and locals alike? That is what we’ll be exploring today.

Mont Kiara is a self-sustaining township, which means its residents have little reason to venture out to other areas. However, when they need to, getting to other places isn’t a problem given Mont Kiara’s connectivity. This suburb is linked to other major suburbs via the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE), SPRINT Highway and Duta-Ulu Kelang Expressway (DUKE). Travelling to and from Sri Hartamas, Bangsar, Damansara, Kuala Lumpur City Centre and Petaling Jaya is made easy.

In terms of accessibility within Mont Kiara, almost everything you need is within walking distance. Whether you’re meeting a friend for coffee, heading to the gym, or picking up groceries, you can most likely get there on foot.
